Sensible and practical are not the kind of buzz words one would choose to review a book, but in this case they are very apposite. If you already have Lynette's first book (Behind with the Laundry and Living off Chocolate) then buy this one now and place them both in a prominent place on your bookshelves as together they provide a guide and support to problems facing women today. They contain eminently useful advice on how to sort out your life and this book focusses in on finance and credit cards, a sore point for many. One of Lynette's case studies mirrors mine exactly and, while I too reached a similar resolution to my problem, my life would have been easier if I had had her advice available to me at the time. No matter. It is out there now and I can only recommend this book as a no nonsense, witty and easy to read book for everyone. Comes complete with CD of useful tips to be dipped in and out of when the mood takes you. Not a book to read in one gulp, but one to have close by to read and refresh and stiffen the sinews and help you to control your credit card and not to let the credit card control you.
