Alastair is a Microsoft Office Specialist Master Instructor and has delivered numerous training courses to individuals and small groups on a range of software packages.

This book is a fantastic introduction to the spatial capabilities of SQL Server 2008. I was very impressed with the authors writing style, and the breadth of spatial topics covered. I would recommend it without a second thought.
