Product Description

Join concert pianist Hayley Elton as she takes you through those first daunting steps on your path to mastering the basics of piano. This programme uses innovative - yet simple - techniques to make piano playing child's play. Master favourite children's tunes such as 'Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star' and 'Old Macdonald Had a Farm' under Hayley Elton's expert tuition. When the children's repertoire is mastered, there's even a Beethoven piano piece to tackle using the skills built up in the previous tunes.

1.0 out of 5 stars Made too easy & too short 4 Feb 2008
I bought th DVD wanting to have something more than the book Im using, as I am a beginner.
Yes, a beginner who two weeks before buying this DVD never played anything on a piano!
Firsly: the information obout the DVD lenght is incorrect on the Amazon productInfo, where it says running time 150 min. Its 35 min.!
This was the main resen for me to buy it thinnking that this will provide me with some learning material for a while.
However, the songs tought here (Big Ben, Twinkle twinkle.., Old Mc Donald ,)
Are things you can easily figure with a book, or by yourself, just giving it 5 minutes.
The most advanced piece on the CD: Beethhovens "Song of joy" or something like that resulted to be the only thing you could spend more than a few minutes with. But, then the DVD has no more to offer.
Disappointed with the lack of material and the too easy beginning for whoever, I understand why I could find it so cheap at the "used & new" section.
I recommend it for people who have never seen or heard a piano, and people with lack of the slightest curiosity to find things out for them self.
If you are serious about trying to learn piano, start with something else.

1.0 out of 5 stars Waste iof time and money 3 Dec 2012
I bought the DVD in a famous records shop in London with lots of interest but I can just say it was waste of money and time.
The beginners can not get enough useful info through this DVD. Although they really need a teacher.
