Book Description

31 July 2009 140811397X 978-1408113974
For the aspiring filmmaker this inspirational book provides a complete introductory course in filmmaking skills. It offers 100 easy projects to guide you through the filmmaking process, from first steps and writing the script, and on to producing, directing and publicizing your finished work. This is a complete 'blue print' to making a film. Based on professional practice, each project utilises readily-available, low-budget equipment and software, and will allow you to get started immediately. Each of the 100 projects takes you right the way through writing your script, selling the idea, raising finance, directing, shooting and camerwork, special effects and post production. Once your film is finished, there are further steps to market and publicise your work at film festivals, through the internet and through film markets and distribution. This book shows how to turn your passion for film into a career.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Brilliant Book For Beginning Filmmakers! 23 Aug 2011
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
I have been making my own films since August 2009. Each year they have got better and better... During filmmaking I found what I want to be... a film director.
I got this book for some extra tips and tricks and how to write a professional script. This book gives you small and easy tasks to do to make your movie the best standards and it works! Already, I have improved my performance.

If you are getting into the film industry, this is certainly the book for you! Worth the buy!

(My films can be seen on YouTube - fanfilmsUK).

I'm rekindling my passion for film production and film making. This coupled with my new camera equipment, Logic Pro X (Mac) and a host of other tools, has really got me back in to the hobby. With Summer just around the corner, I'm ready to roll !!
