This was my first salsa DVD, bought before I started going to classes. It covers the first salsa steps but then goes on to teach a spin. The final routine then incorporates a series of fast spins.
My problem with this is that a spin is quite an advanced move and one that most dancers need to practice a lot before they use it in routines with a partner. This DVD would have been so much better if Orod and Dessy had taught a simple turn instead. It's such a shame because it really ruins the whole DVD. If you can't dance the routine at the end of an instructional DVD then you feel that you've learnt nothing at all.
On the positive side the steps are well taught and there is an excellent section on listening to the rhythm of the music.
Only buy this if you are a natural born spinner.
