I am thoroughly enjoying this Teach Yourself book. I have noticed a lot of French and Italian words that are the same or very similar to Latin words. This is an easy book to read and the grammar is explained clearly. The example paragraphs are not that interesting (they're about a monk and his mule) but they do illustrate the grammar and the sentence structure very well.

The disc arrived fine, but it's no good without the book that says in the Ad accompanies it, I now have to buy this book at an extra expense, the Ad needs to be more clearer in the fact that you also have to purchase the book that accompanies the CD.
