This book was a helpful resource for some mosaic Art projects I had planned for my students. It tends to focus on using the square shaped tesserae in the book, which was fine as a starting point, but some more examples of the use of other materials which can added or nipped into specific shapes would have been even more useful. However, this book was a good starting point and my students have made some really original and creative mosaics.

I purchased this book as I was new to mosaic making but fancied giving it a go. I adapted the first project in the book (a mirror)and found the instructions very useful in making my own first project. The book contains plenty of information on different techniques and inspiration for further creations. Very pleased with purchase and would recommend.

just started mosaic making, and needed a few ideas. this is great for a beginner, lots of tips and ideas to get you started. would recomend to anyone thinking of trying this great craft!

The book is as it says basic mosaic. Its ok.Some good pictures and advice is given, though could hve been a little more in depth
