I bought this little book, which is more of a pamphlet than a book. The text is widely spaced so there isn't much content in fact. I was also disappointed that there wasn't a single figure or photograph in the book.
I'm a beginner with chickens, but this book didn't tell me anything I didn't already know, it's just a listing of general knowledge with some heavy patting on the back by the author how involved she is with saving ex-battery chickens.
I especially didn't like her sly dig at her "friend" who had the audacity to keep a chicken in her bathroom. In fact there are some types of bantam (=small) chickens that can be kept in flats and on balconies, just as you would keep a parrot. This is described in other - better - books.
