Really really beautiful book. Highly recommended for all parents, its a must have for your children's bedtime stories.. You will read it over and over again, I loved the adventures that I went along with the kids when reading it....and the sentimental story that I can read to my kids is just priceless.

How many ways can you explain to your child how much you love them ? This book is 24 pages of very colourful busy illustrations and rhymes.
The introduction /dedication page is a little hard to take , I don't know the story of the author but obviously he has lost a young son in his very early years, so it is sentimental from the start.
The illustrations are colourful and bright and full of fun. Each page starts with " I love you much more than .... " and goes on in rhyme with a particular theme for that page e.g "..a big sandy beach".
One page is particularly good, " I love you much more than the worlds biggest plane " and it has pictures of various recognisable sites/places all over the world e.g Eiffel tower, Statue of Liberty.
Rhymes are good, illustrations are fun. it is sentimental though and you will find yourself holding back a tear at the end when you say good night.

My daughter adores this book and calls it "the love book". She knows what's called but it was the love theme which was most evident to her, which is a very nice sentiment to get before you go to sleep. Beautiful illustrations throughout the book. What makes it most touching for the adult reader is the link between the author and his son. Proceeds from the book also go to excellent charity.

Beautiful book
Beautiful book, I challenge anyone to read it and not feel choked up at the end, my 4 year old is transfixed throughout.

Not impressed
I'm sorry, but I don't really understand why this book is so highly rated. I find it overly sentimental, the rhymes seem strained, and it often doesn't scan well. Read more
