I have used this excellent book in teaching preschool teachers about the symbolism and the activities for the lenten season.
The activities are wonderful expressions of this holy season. The layout of the book includes a background on the activity as well as the activity and ways in which to use within the classroom or the family. Very spiritual and uplifting resource guide for any teacher.
In my particular teaching setting, I have encouraged all teachers to purchase this book.

Fun and Easy Activities, Nice Historical Perspective

My favorite thing about this book is the wealth of activities. We *could* choose to make something every day, but with a large family, I find it more sane to pick and choose as the season progresses. It's nice too that you can do any activity on any day. There were some stories I had never heard before we used this book and we fold them into the Lent season. This book, combined with A Family Journey With Jesus Through Lent: Prayers And Activities for Each Day, creates wonderful traditions that we wouldn't otherwise practice during Lent.
