Product Description

Family adventure in which Beethoven the friendly dog digs up the missing clue to a hidden fortune while on summer vacation. It isn't long before the whole neighbourhood is hunting madly for the treasure, and everyone wants to be Beethoven's best friend.

Synopsis

The adventures of everyone's favourite St. Bernard continue in this fifth outing for the popular canine Beethoven series. Here, when Beethoven digs up an old ten dollar bill, it arouses the suspicion of the Cedar Woods community. When the town finds out that the bill is part of a lost fortune, Beethoven becomes everyone's best friend as the entire town tries to get him to sniff out the loot.

Enjoyed the first two! Then just had to see the others. I did not actually like a couple of the others, though i think this is rather a good one of the series. Not as good as the first two, characters are different and i did not really understand why the original characters weren't having beethoven living with them anymore.

This is still a good family movie! If you disliked the third and fourth, you may still like this.

Beethoven's 5th is a very poor excuse for a family film, it just seemed like they were looking for any kind of an excuse to make another Beethoven film. I'm sorry, but Beethoven was over at the second sequel, stick with the original and the second, that's it. Beethoven at the time was original and a fun family film, but now the sequels are just silly.

After watching the first 4 movies, my children wanted to see this movie. It is a different family to the first 3 films but the crazy, dog antics are just as funny, definitely recommend.
