Daniel Barenboim, born in Buenos Aires in 1942, started piano lessons at the age of five and gave his first official concert in 1950. He made his debut as a pianist in Vienna and Rome in 1952. This is an excellent selection performed to a high standard in a style that is typical of the conductor. I am very pleased to add these pieces to my collection. I turn to it when I need something I know to be good. Be sure to choose the version in this series of discs that you want.

The music is a great selection of Beethoven and of good quality too which is something I find difficult to get.

The CD itself is in perfect condition. The delivery took a while but it arrived within the estimated dates so overall a great purchase.
