This attractive beehive design Composter features a sloped top which is hinged to allow easy access, and a lower door which allows composted waste to be taken out in exactly the amounts required for potting or distributing on your garden.
The wood has been specially treated to be weatherproof and comes from recycled forestry. Finished in an attractive Cedar stain, it makes an ideal repository for bin bags and refuse sacks, holding over 9 cubic feet (150 litres).
Flat packed for easy assembly.

Really pleased with this as I have a small garden and the size is about right. Air vents in side look adequate. Quite thin wood and I have treated it to be on the safe side, but so far so good and at least i can get back to composting! Yi ha. I certainly think its value for money and is far more preferrable than a huge plastic bin and the expense of some of the other beehive styles.

Very disappointed with the quality of the product. We bought this product in April and upon arrival one piece broke when screwing together; this was replaced very quickly by the supplier. But it is now October and 2 pieces have popped off the lid and a part of the front has fallen off; we have put this down to experience and will use it as firewood. Don't bother.

really excited to be able to recycle all the waste from the veg and fruit that is eaten each week. Can't wait to use the compost but must learn patience.

arrived smashed to pieces
Yep, this thing had truly taken a battering. Most of the wood was split or snapped. I dont think the wood is good quality and the packaging was ridiculously unpadded. Read more

Good value for money
The only improvement I could suggest is a way of keeping the bottomflap shut. It is easy for small animals to get into. Read more
