Product Description

Product Description

This practical and non-technical volume provides detailed advice on the pros and cons of accepting salaried or equity partnership. Written by young solicitors who have recently become partners, it tells you what to ask, what to look for and what you can realistically expect when going into partnership. The fifth edition has been completely revised to reflect more accurately the changing legal landscape. It outlines the systems and procedures that a successful and forward thinking partnership should have in place and explains the relevant tax, insurance, pensions and investment issues in plain English. This guide should help the reader reach an informed decision and negotiate a partnership deed that meets his or her needs and fulfils expectations.

Small and thorough 22 Jan 2009

For a topic which is potentially so wide, this little book covers the essential ground very well. Concise, which chapters on all the important aspects. A very worthwhile investment if you are in the position of needing it's help - there's no other comparable book available at the moment, although this edition is a few years old now and could do with updating.
