By B. Hoey
Format:Paperback
I am very disappointed with this book. It is sloppily produced with lots of spelling mistakes ("This made me made"p.16), typographical problems and poor use of grammar. The contents page does not refer to page numbers but uses chapter numbers instead. Unfortunately, the chapters are not numbered in the text so you can not easily find information. The contents also lists a chapter on copyright but this is not in the book. Sometimes a paragraph occurs twice in succession.

The information contained in the book is rather thin for the price. For a similar amount of money I should have bought a comprehensive book on Ecommerce from a reputable publisher.

The author advises the reader to "Forget about having the proper grammar and linguistic structures ...Just get your thoughts and ideas down." She has certainly done that. She then recommends the reader to edit and polish the book, although she does not appear to have taken her own advice. There is no mention of the importance of proof reading: a technique that would have made considerable improvement to this publication.

I am afraid that this publication comes across as a cynical and hurried attempt to exploit its readership. As the author states: "Great titles sells (sic), not your content inside the book." The title certainly suckered me, I suggest you do not repeat my mistake.

Right On the Money 23 Mar 2007
Format:Paperback
As a writer of books and ebooks, this author is right on the money in this great instructional text. The book is easy to read and the message knows her material. Kindle sales are huge right now and to not jump on the e-book gravy train is an investment that you can't afford to miss. After reading other books on selling ebooks, I have found that this one is the most comprehensive and reader friendly.

Please take this off the market and edit 16 Jun 2007
By Chris Flynn - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
Hello Stacey... 1st of all, two of four reviews have been written by you, to you. This diminishes your credibility. I think you are well intentioned, however, reviewing your own book is not appropriate.

2nd of all. I purchased your book hoping to get great information about writing ebooks and publishing on the internet. Unfortunately I couldn't get past THE NUMBERS OF GRAMMAR MISTAKES!! plus the duplication of huge amounts of material.

I paid $23.95 for what looks like a FIRST DRAFT. I'm so unhappy with you for publishing something like this, and with Amazon, for selling something that has not been edited.

Stacey, you have such a long list of admirable achievements! Why would you tarnish your image with such a POORLY PRODUCED and NOT EDITED piece of work?

BUYERS BE WARE! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS BOOK UNTIL STACEY HAS TAKEN IT OFF THE MARKET AND EDITS IT!!

Stacey, I'll be happy to edit for you free of charge.

Sincerely, Chris Flynn

Rough draft 13 April 2007
By R. Eggleston - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This book does contain many hints and sources for those who would want to learn about ebooks.

However, for a second printing it falls far short. There are so many language and duplication errors it appears to be a rough draft instead of a final product. I doubt if anyone ever edited it before printing.

Some of the passages are magnificant. Others appear to be written by someone who learned english as a second language. I have never seen a final product with so many errors. That makes the reader stumble when comming across them.

I would recomend scrapping the second printing, have someone edit the book, and reprint it.

A Terrible Repeat Of Her First Terrible Book 7 May 2007
By Michael Hanna - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
My wife and I are ready to retire and work from home. I bought another of Ms. Chillemi's books last year, and returned it after the first chapter. The woman doesn't use spellcheck, much less an editor. And the information, such as it is, is so weak -- it's just common sense.

By accident, my wife brought in a copy of another of Ms. Chillemi's books. Out of morbid curiosity, I flipped through it. It's a re-hash of that first book I returned last year! We're not even bothering to return this one. It's in the recycle bin out back.

Please, don't bother! There are good books out there, such as "The Web-Savvy Writer," "From Entrepeneur To Infopreneur," and "Content Is King." Avoid this one (and certainly don't let your children or grandchildren get their hands on it. Expose them to proper English.)
