If you are an athlete or just like to train like one then this is for you! You could go out and spend $600 to $1000 on a Personal Trainer to try to get all of this information. But you wouldn't get half of the training from them as you would from this program!

This 80'ish page quick read is a real roadmap to becoming the athlete you want to be.

Also take notice to the later chapters, not only do you get the program but you get the reasons why you are doing what you are doing in the workout program. This is something that is very often overlooked but needs to be addressed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow... 9 Oct 2012

I am probably not the typical individual that would buy a book like this (female in her 40's). Never the less I thought I would give it a try, I was looking for a book that would have a program spelled out for me that I could easily follow. The reason being is that my progress in the gym had started to stagnate and plateau. This program was exactly what I needed and as far as the results I'm seeing all I can say is wow... I highly recommend trying it out it's a little harder then I expected but when you need to break through a plateau that is exactly what you need.
3.0 out of 5 stars Best in your Gym 12 Feb 2013

There was some good ideas in the books. Nothing new that I hadn't seen or tried before but a good refresher.
3.0 out of 5 stars Geared for a Specific Male Audience 30 Oct 2012
By Just An Ordinary Gal - Published on Amazon.com

This book is geared for a specific male audience -- and the author is very straightforward about that. This audience is men who already have a good foundation in nutrition and exercise.

It is truly for the fitness devotee who wants to be the best.

I stopped reading almost immediately when I realized the book was written solely for men in this category, as I am a much older female.

It may not be fair to give it 3-stars on the basis of this limited exposure to the work, but I cannot go higher as I would not have had the knowledge to evaluate the advice being offered.
