Oh how I wish I could subtly breastfeed with a pachmina draped delicately and artistically over my shoulder like my smaller busted mummy friends. My nursing cupsize is an impressive FF and with a baby who can be fussy and/or nosy (in both cases coming off and exposing me to the world!) there is nothing discrete about it!
In the early days I would get up earlier than my baby to express milk to take out with me to avoid embarrassment. That is all a thing of the past with the wondrous Bebe au lait. It is so easy to pop on and you can see exactly what you are doing because of the wired neck, which you can look down. It rolls up really small to fit in the changing bag and is really roomy so you really don't have bare anything! It is great in a busy coffee shop or similar because it also cuts out any distractions for your baby and they feed better.
I went for the plain black one because I felt I didn't really want to draw attention to myself and that it would be nice dark underneath for my baby, but there are some lovely patterns available.
My only regret - not getting one sooner. It seemed a bit of an extravagant purchase on my miserly maternity pay but has seriously been worth every penny.

Bought the cover after my 3 and half months old son demaned feeding every half hour when out and about, found to very easy to store in the change bag without taking too much room. It gives you enough cloth to completeley cover both me and my son even when he is kicking it still covers well. It allows you to maintain eye contact with each other and it's easy to adjust to fit. Also the corners of the cover have cotton pockets sown into them which are ideal for breast pads or using it as a wipe cloth. The first time i used it i was wearing a normal t-shirt and even with pulling the t-shirt up, still gave me the privacy and confidence i needed to feedin public. I would recomend this to any mother who are worried about feeding in public.

An invaluable product. At first I thought it might too expensive to be worth my while, but not at all - it is fabulously well-designed and has transformed my experience of going out with my baby. I can now feed him whenever and wherever I like without resorting to sneaky feeds in toilets, buying coffees I didn't want, etc. Because with this product you can just park yourself anywhere and you get a relaxed feed without worrying about the material restricting the airflow around your baby or the material flapping off and exposing you (which was happening a lot with my colicky baby). Baby can look right up into my eyes while feeding and enjoy the privacy and intimacy. He loves the design, and stares at it for ages when I am using it as a sunshade on the pram - which, incidentally, it functions as very well, as the wired part keeps it positioned on the pram hood well except in strong winds.
