I am not a regular viewer of Judge Judy's show. When I do watch it, I am drawn to her straightforwardness and common sense.
When I read this book it seemed as if she was speaking straight to my heart. It was like a friendly chat with a someone who has seen it all.
It's obvious that her experiences as a daughter, wife and working mother has informed her life and her work. The main idea of this book in a nutshell is to learn and live life to the best of your ability and enjoy the moment as nothing, good or bad, lasts forever.

I LOVE JUDGE JUDY!!! I watch her show as often as I can and decided to take the time to read her book just to see what she had to say. Without a doubt, it was well worth the effort. Her common sense and no-nonsense approach to womanhood was refreshing and intelligent. I'm still telling friends about my favorite excerpts and can't do so without doubling over in laughter. I only wish that I could handle confrontation with as much finesse as she does. How ingenious! I love the way she is able to let people know they've stepped over the line by her actions and not necessarily her words. I'm certain it has more impact than people think. All in all, I say, you GO, girlfriend! Keep telling people how it is and maybe someday it will sink in.

Judge Judy tells it like it is. This woman takes no stuff from anyone. Excellent reading. This is a must read for every woman. Every woman can learn something from her book. She is a great role model. She uses her real life experiences to tell how you can learn from your mistakes. It's humorous as well as educational.

Judge Judy - Beauty Fades.....
Full of pearls of wisdom. This book would be a good read for teenage girls who need words of advice but won't take it from their mothers.

Brilliant!
I have seen Judge Judy on TV and admired her 'straight talking'. However, this book makes so much sense - a read for EVERY woman :)
