I bought this and Alice in Wonderland for my 6 year old niece. It's an amazing book and one that she will treasure for years to come.
I've also loved pop up books but this really does exist on another level, as someone else said, it really is a work of art.
I disagree you have to be a certain age to appreciate it but younger children would really need to be supervised with it to keep it in it's beautiful condition.

Got this book for my teenage daughter. It's brilliant, such detail. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone under 8 though.

What can I say. It simply beautiful, every design is stunning, its a book you can play with and enjoy reading at the same time its good for adults and children. It can be fiddly so I take extra care when opening the pages and little pop ups. Good for any type of gift. I recommend looking at all of Robert sabuda's pop up books because he has a wide range of books and you might find another one you prefer by him, Beauty and the beast is still my fave tho. Have fun shopping.

A beautiful book, which children are instinctively careful with. The pop-ups are delightful and detailed, and the story well told. The beast is quite scary.
