Product Description

This humorous, delightful story began as a writing assignment in Rachel's 6th grade English class. Fast forward three years to the present, Rachel has transformed "Rugmo and the Other Side of the Fence," to "A Wolf Pup's Tale;" a beautifully illustrated, enchanting children's book. It is a story about a young wolf pup, whose curiosity leads him to discovery, danger, and friendship.

Nice pictures 28 April 2012

My kids love to scan this book because they like how the images were being illustrated in the book. They see funny faces of the animals and learned how they call it without forgetting. They learned a lot in this story. So, I recommend this to my friends so their children can enjoy too. The Earth Dog Story

Illustrations Kind of Reminded Me of the 80's Cartoon Kimba the White Lion 26 Feb 2012
By James N Simpson - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
This isn't a bad tale, it's a little predictable, especially since you can work out what happens from the cover illustration. Even though it goes over much familiar ground to what you and the children you're reading it to have probably read before, it still has the odd little bit of its own uniqueness to make it memorable in its own right. It's definitely not a bad effort for a teenage author. The illustrations are also very old school in style, they remind me of the illustrations of books from my own childhood in the 80s and even the cartoon Kimba the White Lion (you know the one Disney ripped off with the Lion King). An interesting older style by artist Leo Latti to accompany a modern day teen's writing. A Wolf Pup's tale is of course a nice cautionary tale where a wolf pup sneaks through a hole in the fence of a wolf reservation. Children learn the dangerous consequences of disobeying their parents/teacher's rules of keeping out of somewhere they have been told not to go.
