I recently bought a book (from Amazon) entitled 'The Unreleased Beatles - Music and Film' by Richie Unterberger (an excelent Book for the real fan), which lists and reviews (perhaps not surprisingly considering the Books title) the Beatles unofficiently issued Audio and Video items. In this book they suggest that if you wish to obtain 'essential documents' of the Beatles in concert, then the best examples are concerts from Washington 1964, Paris 1965 and Tokyo 1966. All of these, plus the legendary Shea Stadium concert, are present on this DVD. However, the quality, although acceptable (especially as you can't get it anywhere else), is not it must be said, up to the same standard as you get from the officially released Anthology series, for example. But as they say, you pay's your money... For me, good value.
