This review is for the actual product rather than a complaint about the description of the product that never states that the game is included.
As with the other two Rock Band (RB) Beatles guitars the Gretsch is based on the standard Rock Band Stratocaster guitar that appears to only be available for Playstation on Amazon unless you buy the Rock Band: Band in a Box (Wii). The Gretsch is approximately 2 inches longer than the Stratocaster; the Rickenbacker is the same size as the Stratocaster and the Hofner included in the limited edition premium bundle is approximately 5 inches longer than the Stratocaster. It should be noted that the Rock Band Stratocaster is approximately 2 inches longer than the Guitar Hero (GH) World Tour guitar. I find the larger scale of the Gretsch with adjusted fret button positions much more comfortable to play. As with all RB guitars the fret buttons are larger than those on GH guitars, they also do NOT require a Wii remote to work (making set-up less fiddly) and the strum bar does not click when pressed (making the experience more engrossing). All the Beatles instruments are more expensive than previous guitar controllers and the quality is noticeably superior. The finish on all the components is superb on the Gretsch and the build feels more solid and less toy-like. I would definitely not want to go back to using a GH guitar after playing with this but it's up to individuals to decide whether the premium is worth paying. It should be noted that Rock Band guitars on the Wii are only compatible with Guitar Hero 5 and later games e.g. Band Hero.

I was brought Beatles Rock band for last Christmas and instantly loved it. I had played Guitar Hero before at a friends house and found it rather difficult, ( in fact I still do) But loved Rock band, for several reasons. Firstly it is slighlty easier to master than Guitar Hero due to the speed of the game play, secondly and most importantly; it is the Bealtes a band I like most peple love, the songs and videos in this game are excellent, and for those who are not playing watching the on screen videos can prove quite entertaing too. Third the quality of the equipment is excellent. The only major issue I had was that I live in a house with three other people all of whom wanted to play aswell, and we only had three controllers so I looked into buying another guitar controller. I found another guitar controller would cost me about £30.00 which I was quite happy to pay but for £45.00 I could buy the George Harrsion Guitar, so I did (it was £45.00 at the time of purchase I know that price has gone up now) I then decided to look at the price of the John Lennon Gutiar this was over £85.00. As I have said I love the game and the music of the beatles and was happy to pay a little extra for the Geaorge Harrison Guitar however the price of the Lennon guitar was a bit too much. I always use the Gretch duo jet guitar ( the George Harrison guitar) when we play beacuse I have found it the most confotable and easiest to use of any of the roack band and guitar hero products I have used, plus it looks amazing. If you love the game and the Bealtes as much as I do and you need an extra controller for your band I would certainly suggest you purchase this gutiar.

We had much fun with Beatles rock band over christmas! The songs are great.. Great family fun.
