5.0 out of 5 stars All you need is this book, 1 Dec 2000

This review is from: The Beatles After The Break-Up 1970 - 2000 (Hardcover)
Keith Badman has produced a work of genius here. This is easily one of the greatest Beatles books that has ever been printed and it's simply unmissable for all Beatles fans and I think non-fans would get a lot out of it too. Lavished with many rare photos of the Four and literally crammed full of relevant information to their solo careers and personal lives, this book is a MUST buy.

5.0 out of 5 stars The definitive work on the 'solo' Beatles, 18 Oct 1999

This review is from: The Beatles After The Break-Up 1970 - 2000 (Hardcover)
This is an incredible 'tome' of knowledge packed from cover to cover with just about everything that you might want to know about the post split Beatles. Those who can't take a year out of their lives to read it in one sitting will find themselves coming back to this book time and time again as the real life story of the worlds greatest rock quartet unfolds from 1970 onwards. This work places that great 60's archivist Keith Badman on a new level, and should bring him further recognition as 'the' authority in this field. excellent.

5.0 out of 5 stars Immediately one of the top ten Beatles books., 8 Oct 1999

This review is from: The Beatles After The Break-Up 1970 - 2000 (Hardcover)
The ex-Fabs are just as interesting as they were up to April 1970, but all the other books either finish there or split into solo stories. Keith Badman must have spotted what many did not see and has pieced together this facinating "Jigsaw". This unique and dazzling book adds to the "Body of Knowledge" about the Fabs. I have been interested in The Beatles since the 1970's, but there is nothing I know that is not in this book. In a nutshell "It is The B*ll*cks!" and he has done the Fans proud.
