Following the September 9 (9-9-09) debut of The Beatles' digitally re-mastered catalogue on CD, comes this exquisitely crafted, apple-shaped USB drive. Loaded with the critically acclaimed re-mastered audio for The Beatles' 14 stereo titles, it also contains all of the re-mastered CDs' visual elements, including 13 mini-documentary films about the studio albums, replicated original UK album art, rare photos and expanded liner notes. A specially designed Flash interface has been installed, and the 16GB USB's audio and visual contents will be provided in FLAC 44.1 Khz 24 bit and MP3 320 Kbps formats, fully compatible with both PC and Mac.

A sort of nice idea. A collector's edition of all of the remastered Beatle's albums(well most of them) in digital format. A novel way of doing it producing it as a USB stick you plug into your computer(in the shape of an Apple - as in Apple records). The stick contains the albums in MP3 format(rated at 320 KBps) and higher quality FLAC format. There are various documentaries as well. What let's it down ins the build quality of the USB stick and housing. Firstly it is packed very tightly in its box it very stiff foam padding, it is so difficult to get it out. Secondly the stalk of the apple(for pulling the USB stick out) is easily broken. It seems very delicate. My advise would be to use it just once, and copy all of the stuff on it to a hard disk.

the music is great but it fell apart when I took the usb stick out very poor manufacturing I returned it to Amazon who sent a replacement and this time the little stick bit at the top of the apple was broken I just glued it back together myself.

After Apple Inc broke the agreement with Apple Corp and moved into the music market its nice to have the most beautiful computer USB peripheral brought out by the Beatles company.
The presentation just couldn't be any better from the iPod like box to the beautifully rendered metal apple that holds the USB stick in with the perfect magnetic action. Grab this one before they disapear!
