Dan at his finest 5 Sep 2009
Format:Audio CD|Amazon Verified Purchase
The 1970s albums Striking it Rich and Where's The Money probably rank as Dan Hicks best prior to this. This is right up there with them. Not a bad song on it and it rocks from start to finish. His new songs are great, the old ones sparklingly refreshed. Waste no more time reading reviews, buy it!

If you like intelligent lyrics with a West coast layed back sound this album is unbeatable.
The lyrics will make you smile and you will find new amusement even after repeated listening.

You can't beat it 18 Nov 2011
Format:Audio CD
Dan Hicks has been doing his thing since the Stone Age, and even back then seemed to be mysteriously unknown to most.
Mysterious because I can't think of a more infectiously entertaining performer.
Everyone I play this to loves this album. It could be his best yet. It has a whole raft of stunning songs with some brilliant guest appearances.
Don't delay, get it today.
