Biography

Somewhere between the five full-length albums and a decade-long road test across the highways of the world, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club found their way.
Eleven years after bassist Robert Levon Been and guitarist Peter Hayes started playing gigs around their hometown of San Francisco, the duo has now started over, with a new vision, a new drummer, and the gift of a future unknown.

This Album is utterly, utterly fantastic! I wish I could squeeze in some more stars, 'cause 5 is nowhere near enough. Genuinely not a single bad track, totally devoid of filler. The band continues to put out yet another flawless collection. I cannot stress how brilliant this CD is. Beg, steal or borrow a copy and feast on the best rock album you will hear this year.
B.R.M.C, thank you!

Incredible!! 28 Mar 2010
Format:Audio CD
I had been itching to get my hands on this album for so long and got it the day of release, it hasn't been off my ipod! I am definatly not dissapointed its fantastic. I agree with the first two reviewers their isn't a bad track on it. It isn't a return to howl as much as I would have loved that, it's just a fantstic rock album pure BRMC. It has all their trademarks bit's of blues and plenty of base, you fall in love with Robert and Pete's voices all over again, their's a bit of country and a bit of slow stuff mixed in just right! Leah is a fantastic addition to the band and brings with her some tremendous drumming.

If you love the Album wait til you see it live cause it'll blow you out of the water!

Its just rock n roll!
I can't be bothered to say much about this really.....but i DO want to say its great. Probably not highly original and BRMC do have a fairly contrived sound and image, but the fact... Read more

The tatooed Devil hides in details
Neither as fresh and good as B.R.M.C. or as deep and good as Howl, this album is only slightly better than Baby 81. Read more

BRMC at their best
After thoroughly enjoying the Baby 81 album I did wonder if it was possible to top it, and this album certainly matches Baby 81 if not exceeds it. Read more

Their best album so far
It's fair to say that I'm a huge BRMC fan, so any new album would have to be terrible for me to be disappointed, but that aside this is an incredible album - in my opinion their... Read more

This blows away anything other bands have done this year!
It really annoys me when people compare BRMC to Oasis, especially when you consider that Oasis tried to emulate The Jesus & Mary Chain but having got so far up their own backsides... Read more

At last they find their voice!
BRMC have always been decried as a band that are a sum of others' parts - most notably Kasabian, the Brian Jonestown Massacre, Spaceman 3, Bob Dylan, White Stripes, and, of course,... Read more

Best Rock Album of 2010?
When you mix the best of all the other albums of the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and put a little Kasabian, Oasis & U2 in it: then you get Beat The Devil's Tattoo. Read more
