I think this game is great - it's simple to play and loads of fun. You just use the remote control and you don't need to read any instructions to start. It's fun - all ages can play the questions start at a very easy level and get harder. Anyone and everyone can play and enjoy this.
I played this game last year and the new one is a huge improvement. The quick fire game is great. You've got guess 6 intros as quickly as possible. Get one wrong and you've got to start again.
The Head to Head is new. You've got to guess the song from either a lyric or intro. There are also questions where you have to identify the artist from a blurry picture. As the time ticks down the image gets clearer. The quicker you answer all of the questions the more points you get.
If you get the first question right you get a bonus trivia question about the artist/song. If you get this right there's another one which is slightly harder and then a final question - which is really tricky. You get 6 intros and (then the trivia questions) per player. You points are based on how many questions you get right and how quickly. At the end of the round the DVD player tells you who wins!

I am not sure if the previous reviewer and I are playing the same game! My family and I found Beat the Intro 3 really good fun!
There is a wide variety of music in the game and the questions are varied and many we found very cleveryly written and funny! The game includes up to date pop images and lyrics which made it fun for even the youngest members of my family. I would recommend it for a family evening where there are players of different ages and have different musical knowledge.

Good Game but very often tells you wrong answer when you know you are right! Example, One question was Name The Battle that was a hit for Abba? You had to choose from Hastings Waterloo and Trafalgar, Everyone knows that the answer is Waterloo! But enter that answer and you are told wrong answer!! This happened on a number of questions. Researchers need to get their facts straight!!
Apart from that, Enjoyable game.

Beaten again
Brought 2 and 3, waste of time they give wrong answers makes you realise why they are sold so cheap infact a few p cheaper and they will be paying you to take them away.

A little wayward sometimes.....
Overall, quite good fun, BUT it sometimes tells you you're wrong when you're plainly not, e.g. tell me Rod Stewart DID sing Baby Jane, Abba DID sing Dancing Queen and Dolly Parton... Read more
