Could somebody please tell me whether the picture quality is any good on this DVD? This film seems to have so many different versions available on different labels, most of which, I have discovered, are absolutely useless. I just wondered whether or not this newer version, made by WHE ( possibly Warner home Entertainment ??? ), is any better than the others which are virtually unwatchable.
The irony of this is that I seem to remember , when last seen on TV, the picture seemed to be a much more vivid than most black and white films from that period.
