Use pillows creatively in bed to stop yourself rolling over if an inadvertent movement is agony. Line them up against you back whilst lying on your side so they wedge you in position. A pillow placed under your bent knees may help to keep you in a position that suits your back, especially if pain radiates down one of your legs. Or lie on your back with two pillows rolled within a towel placed under your knees.
