A great book by Sir Samuel W. Baker. I admire the writing style and his ethics that he differentiate between killing and hunting. Though I was utterly disappointed by reading his book "The Rifle And Hound In Ceylon" where he wantonly killed Buffaloes and Elephants (including the half grown ones). Aside from "The Rifle And Hound In Ceylon", I admire the true hunting and sportsmanship spirit of the author. You will learn very detailed and first-hand experiences of author with Big Game animals in many parts of the world. This book is intended to be full of knowledge but still you can find exciting hunting experiences of the writer.
