Bought this for the Yeti we used to live with. He was both pleased and displeased to feature alongside other elusive characters such as the Loch Ness Monster. He would have liked to have been the only subject of the book but seemed to take it as a sign that nobody knew enough about him to fill an entire book; claiming that he was "da best at being a very good hider". All in all our Yeti liked it, but he would rather have had a roast dinner.

For those with children of a very curious nature, these are the books for you. Everyone in the house couldn't put this one down. Excellent pictures, not just drawings. Are they the real thing? Children will also be introduced to sonar and mountianeers. Science becomes very interesting.

We read the book together - he read the shorter paragraphs...gramma read the longer ones.....over and over and over!!
