having last bought a scanner some twenty years ago,I decided to go upmarket, this scanner is impossible to program, even using reccommended software it is has proved incapable in my hands, leaving it to find and store found frequencies you end up with a load of noise, hundreds of systems (channels) full of rubbish, using software to get rid of,you are left with an expensive piece of equipment, battery life is pathetic, computer cable is expensive using a non standard plug to connect scanner and computer together.

To get anywhere with it,it is nessesary to constantly moniter the receiver, the handbook is a joke, even using the easier to use unofficial handbook leaves you sratching your head wondering what is going on,I may be missing the point of this equipment.
