I've been using a pair of Reebok Gripmaster weightlifting pads for a while but recently they've started to slip off my hands during heavier lifts and a friend recommended liquid chalk.
This is probably the best tip anyone has given me for the gym - the chalk dries in seconds and leaves my hands perfectly dry for ages. My grip is that much stronger it's leaving me with more confidence to concentrate on the lift and not my grip.
Just apply a 10p to 50p sized amount to both hands, rub across your palms and in between your fingers until it goes tacky and let dry for 15 seconds. Your hands will turn white as the chalk dries.
Re-apply as required!

The novelty wore off after a week of use whilst climbing up in Scotland, mainly due to the fact that, in transit, the bottle burst open. In hindsight, yes, this could happen to a dry chalk bag. But would I buy this product again? nah, not likely!

I've had to give up using powdered chalk for my weight-lifting due to an allergy. Was recommend to try this product because of the product blurb... but it doesn't do what it says... its just chalk in a fast evaporating spirit, once it's evaporated its exactly the same as normal chalk, gets everywhere, dusts, gets all over the equipment... the only benefit is no dusting during the initial application to your hands...
I wish I could use chalk again for weight lifting, it's so much better, but I've given this bottle away to a friend and started using weightlifting gloves, which I'm not happy about.
