I really liked reading this book having visited the Costa Del Sol several times where the story takes place. The characters are well thought out and likeable and this is a good juicy read which will take you through the holidays. If you're looking for something along the lines of Maeve Binchy or Cathy Kelly, then The Beach Bar certainly won't disappoint!

I bought the Book Club to take on holiday and enjoyed it and wanted to read other books by Kate McCabe. Was thrilled when I looked in my bookcase to find The Beach Bar. Read this in 2 days, so good I couldn't put it down finished it last night at 2am. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did, now I need the buy her other book!

I loved this bbook, once I started it, I simply could not put it down. If you like Maeve Binchy then you will love this. Great characters, great storyline, easy to read and very enjoyable.... a must... fab holiday read.
