4.0 out of 5 stars Useful 18 Jan 2013

This is a useful primer if you find going into a room full of strangers a stressful experience. You may not want to do all of the suggested exercises but in general the book will encourage you to be more assertive in conversation.

A valuable guide assisting with socialising skills. I am a naturally confident person myself, however I did find some interesting tips and strategies in this book that I am itching to put into practice. A book for everybody, whether the shy beginner or more experienced socialite.

Some good tips and strategies but I don't know how effective they are for everyone. Maybe it's more a case of "not for me".
