Be of Good Mind. Essays on the Coast Salish

I originally ordered this book because it was written by a Native American of a similar name. I thought that it was a book written by a Native American on the Native American. I certainly found out that was not the case. The book has it seems a million references to previously published works in addition to interviews with Native Americans and his interpretation of their stories. Apparently it is attempt to bridge the gap between the old anthropology with the new. I don't know if it quite does that. It is good attempt(?).
