I'm not a beanie collector, but I do have this one, which is a special edition of the pinky coloured one in the same pattern of the same figure and radar the little black bat.
I'm more a bat collector than a beanie collector.
batty is soft, and is very cute, rather like real bats.
as a child I always wanted toy bats, but there weren't many around. so I make up for it now.
I also think that it's good to help children who might not be interested in bats to avoid the negative stereotypes of these lovely animals by their early exposure being as something cute, rather than grotesque or frightening.
