Well i decided to purchase this one instead of BF4 because it is more 'Mature', less buggy now, and will run smoothly unlike new games that will drink all your cpu and gpu juice. From what i have seen the multiplayer is quite same with that of BF4. BF4 has more colors, details, light and shadows...true but i prefer online gaming performance that visually perfect game especially for multiplayer FPS games where lags and slow gpu performance can get you killed before realising you are dead. I experienced that with Crysis 3 a lot :-D. My opponent already got a headshot on me. but because of lag, i was running then suddenly i died. I realised that i had been shot some seconds before in the kill cam replay. But i dont get such issue with Crysis 2. So that is also the reason i chose an earlier version on Battlefield instead of the recent one which in more demanding for its graphics and environmental effects.
What I want in FPS games are guns, bullets, grenades, walls, covers, fluid movement, real physics and gravity and vicious opponents. The rest for example, flying leaves, shadows, water ripples etc are secondary.
Oh yes even though this is a DVD version (2 disks) you will have to download approx. 20 GB for updates additional maps, weapons etc.
Phew.. But luckily the download speed is ok even for me where internet is quite slow. Now i will have to backup the updates so that i dont need to download them again if ever my windows crash. We have to be pro active in life.
