Nick S. Thomas' "Battle Earth II" picks up where "Battle Earth" left off. Major Mitch Taylor along with his friends, fellow soldiers, and with a few scientists thrown in, is still fighting this deadly foe. The alien invaders have superior weapons and are deadly to go up against yet Taylor managers to survive and hurt back with each encounter. In this second book Taylor and the military are starting to get some new weapons and armor that is sure to even the playing field if not give them some kind of home field advantage. The poor souls left on the moon are still fighting the good fight and trying to survive with the help that comes from the supplies from Earth. And here I will stop and urge you to pick up your own copy of this great series.

Nick Thomas has written an impressive sequel and follow-up to his "Battle Earth" series. My only complaint is that this book ended too quickly for me and left me wanting more. I will be impatiently waiting for the next installment of this excellent story. This is a must read for any Sci-Fi fan.

Found the Battle Earth saga's by accident a couple of days ago and already read them, coudnt put them dowmn I was reading it on my Kindle then had to go to work so finished reading it on my kindle app. As an ex squaddie I thought the tone of the soldiers was right, the old premise of when you stop moaning then thats when you worry, some officers and nco's are complete idiots and you wonder how they ever got promoted. Found the storyline strangely believable as in the end money always talks, so I understood that guys coudnt get the best waepons and why space travel had not extended past the moon as such. Overall I cant wait for the 3rd instalment, so I will download the ganymede books and I have no doubt that they will be as good nd as riveting as the Battle Earth books.

I got a gift of a Kindle for christmas and downloaded battle earth 1 to test it out being an old science fiction fan I was dubious of new authors, well I can say this guy Nick Thomas is as good a story teller as Clarke or Asminov his ability to weave characters in and out of the story while kepping the narative alive was great in the first book but in the second he gets right under the skin of the characters and makes you feel as though your in the trench with them,I recomend this series of books and can't wait for the next installment.

Got my kindle for Christmas and Battle Earth I & II soon made it on to my new shiny device.

Completely taken by surprise by both these books, originally purchased due to their low price but quickly became engrossed in these fast paced and well written stories.

I'm quite patient and more than happy to wait for any authors next book, however, Nick has turned me into an inpatient man! I can't wait for the third book in the series to learn more about the story line and characters that he has crafted.

Battle Earth II... brilliant! It takes you straight back in to the action and just when you thought "how can they possibly go on?" They do... I struggled to put this down and got pulled in to the next stages of the 'battle' and had to see them through. Can't wait for Battle Earth III and the rest....!
