Georg Clarke's Directorial Debut is something for all of Northern Ireland to be proud off. What this man has accomplished with a budget of only £10,000 defies believe.
Sure it may not have the special effects of a Hollywood blockbuster, but the effects are there, and more importantly it has pace and heart, something all to often lacking from big budget movies.
Set during a contentious Orange Order march on the 12th of July which see's the residents of Belfast rioting once more, 3 friends cross the devide, and have to fight their way through the worst violence the city has to offer. Just when they think they are over the worst, the Zombies attack.
What follows is 90 minutes of blood, gore, high kicking, high octane comedy, with a few obvious homages thrown in for good measure. This highly recommended film has even started to win awards across the pond, winning the coveted Audience's Choice award at this years Freak Show horror festival in Florida.
Buy it now, watch it at your lesure and love this classic... then all you have to do is to wait for the much anticipated sequal, 'The Slash my Father wore'.
