The installation instructions were not great and when the software modification ran, it only gave me the "not recommended" option for installing, with the "recommended" option greyed out. Nevertheless it installed ok and works just fine. It probably doesn't have quite the same life as the original when new but it does the job. I am very happy with it.

When I received the battery, I found no CD in the box and contacted the seller; they told me that the item they just manufactured does not require the CD software and upgrade BIOS; so I inserted the battery and charge it up; so far the battery is holding the charge; happy with the pricing and quality; especially the CD thing was dispensed with because I was feeling apprehensive about the BIOS upgrade.

Amazon Verified Purchase
This arrived the next day, just put in lap top and it started charging no need to do anything else. It is working fine so far. I am interested to see how long it lasts!
