Used Original Canon Charger to charge this battery and the charging was flawless. The Canon LED flashed correctly and also changed to green correctly on full charge. The Camera also reported a full battery, and works perfectly. An excellent replacement battery for the original Canon one. No complaints at all.

I bought two of these, to go in a battery grip.
Received very quickly, but....
One battery I charge, charger displaying full, but battery only 15% charged:
Charged it, charger indicator green (full charge), popped it in my camera and only a 15% charge. Tried several times, same story.
One battery I have left on charge for 12+ hours and will not charge fully:
I received batteries and popped one in the charger, about 5pm. I went to bed at 11pm and the charger was blinking twice (50% charge) so I left it. In the morning the charger was still blinking twice. So I unplugged battery (didn't want to leave it on while at work) and tried to charge it again next evening - same scenario.
What a shame, these batteries have a good review, that's why I bought them. Sent back to Amazon, I'll pay the extra ££'s and get the Hahnel ones, I have 2 of these already and they're good.

I was a little worried about buying the non-Canon brand battery - but I needn't have been. My camera (60D) recognises it, displays all the information and has registered it in the battery database. The battery arrived with a nearly full charge (88%) and worked the camera immediately. To test the reaction of the Canon charger to the battery I topped it up to 100% - the light codes showed correctly and it appeared to take a sensible time to get it topped up - about 20-30mins. As I have only just received the battery I have yet to see if it actually performs as well as my original Canon battery (which is superb - I got 1,100 shutter activations out of it on its second charge). It arrived packed in a small Amazon box - which fitted my letter box, well done Amazon. The only negative things are slight and don't merit the loss of a star :-)
i) The leaflet that came with it is in German - but it appears to be mostly safety information ie "Sicherheitshinweise".
ii) It doesn't have a protective clip for when the battery is not in use - but as I only have the two batteries and one is in the camera I only need one of these anyway!

Didn't work with Canon EOS 5D Mk II

Rubbish - 3 months old and won't charge

BATTERY FOR A CANON 5D MK2 DSLR
I DON'T LIKE THIS BATTERY AS IT LOSES ITS CHARGE FOR TOO QUICKLY. I WOULD FIND IT DIFFICULT TO RECOMMEND IT.
