I received my battery yesterday. It came with 75% charge. I left my MBP idle without power to deplete the remaining charge. The next morning I performed an SMC reset as my MBP had trouble estimating the charge time remaining, and would complain no battery was available. After the SMC reset it seems fine.

Looking at the battery performance after a full charge:

Charge Information:
Charge remaining (mAh): 3740
Fully charged: No
Charging: No
Full charge capacity (mAh): 4967
Health Information:
Cycle count: 2
Condition: Normal

Not exactly the 5.5k mAh I got from my second geniune Apple battery, that was £99 though. This is a fraction of the price but it's not perfect. I've 72% charge left as I write this (2hr 26m). I'm not sure if the mAh will improve after another charge or two. You can see this battery is built to a budget, it's not quite the same shade of grey as my MBP (slightly darker), it doesn't fit as flush but I can't argue with the quality for 1/5th of the price. It's lighter, more plastic, less metal. I'm only looking for another 6 months use out of this MBP before I upgrade to a 15" Macbook Air (assuming Apple release one this year). Does the job, don't expect the same quality as the genuine article.

Excellent battery 1 Dec 2011
This is an excellent battery. I have been using it for a few weeks now and I have to say I'm really very pleased. It charges well, gives great life and lasts well on standby. If I had to buy another spare I would buy one of these as they are excellent value for money. It also arrived in two days and was well packed in a special foam filled box.
Not a problem for me but just so you know the finish while great quality is a little darker than the colour of the laptop - but who looks at the bottom of their laptop and it is not 100% flush as mentioned on other reviews but lets be real about this we are talking less than 1/2 a mm out and this in no way affects its use! LEDs work the same as original. So that's an A +++++++++++++ from me.

I've only been through 2 charging/discharging cycles, but it seems to be working as expected. Its performance doesn't seem to be as good as the original apple battery (4h-5h), but I wasn't expecting that. This one seems to hold for 3h30-4h which I think it's fairly decent for the price (1/5th of an original apple battery). So if it keeps this performance for at least 1 year I'll be quite happy with it.

Battery dead
This battery worked 15 cycles and died. Genuine apple battery works over 4500 cycles. Beware of cheap an fake product!
