After three years, the battery on my Asus EEE1000H needed replacement and I had no luck trying to find an original replacement.I had some concern about the many warnings online about replacement laptop batteries coming from China. The web is full complaints about dodgy companies with UK email addresses, wrong product supplied, cells rated less that advertised, non-charging, poor charging, and return policy issues.
An over sensitive track pad resulted in me making a purchase with this company!
But I'm not sorry! Battery arrived promptly, was a slightly tighter fit than the original and had some charge. When discharged and charged for the first time... I got 6 hours use non-stop! Ever since I'm getting about 4.5 hours per charge and I'm very happy with my purchase. I don't know how long this battery will last (as long a the 3-year old original?) but at the very reasonable asking price, if I get a year out of it I'll be delighted.
I'll post a much later (3 years time?!)to advise on the life of the battery.

I bought this because my EEE901 original battery was only charging to 40%. I was worried about ordering a replacement battery since there seemed to be a lot of pitfalls, ranging from products that did not work to batteries that did not fit. However this one came promptly, fitted perfectly and is charging as well as the original one did when new. Recommended.
