Great to find a "learn to read" book that will get boys interested in learning to read! Most boys love Batman and Spiderman,my 5 year old loves them. Would definitely recommend.

Its Batman and aimed at the write age group so is inherently a win in this household.
However its not as good as the 'I am Batman' book from the same range. difficulty of words is much more sporadic and it is not enough of a story to engage my son so well.
However its quite well made for the price, paper quality, printing and colour are all quite decent (although the artist could do with some lessons on perspective and scale).
so if you are just buying one of these, dont get this. If you are getting a few of them, this one is fine as part of a collection

An excellent book to develop my 6 year old son's newly-found reading skills. Text size is good to encourage reading to an adult.
