You'd think almost 20 years would have made these less enjoyable, but I still love Kevin Conroy's voicing of Batman and this was where I was first introduced to Mark Hamill's Joker without knowing it was Mark Hamill. The two of them among a great cast of voice actors and great introductions to the legendary Batman villains and anti-heroes are all the more reason to watch this.

Classic Batman stories that are just as good as when I was a kid, have aged really well and my little girl loves them as much as I do this is one of the best animated shows ever made.

I can't believe it's been 22 years since I first started watching this series. I was only a kid then and I was nervous about revisiting my favourite cartoon from childhood less it taint a beloved childhood memory, but I really needn't have been.

Batman was a cartoon that that works on more levels than just for children. Some of the stories in this series have very adult themes and there is no talking down to a younger audience.

Other than the fact that it doesn't benefit from modern animation quality, this TV show is still utterly brilliant. It is wonderfully moody, filled with great stories and is still to this day one of the best adaptions of the Batman comics.

For any kid today looking for a great TV show to watch then look no further than Batman the Animated Series. For any 'Big Kids' like myself then allow yourself the guilty pleasure of revisiting the Batman series.
