Suprisingly, even though you would think using 3-D would be a perfect excuse to palm you of with the usuall tacky rubbish, this is a great read. A good story and strong character personalitys make up for the slightly irritating need of wearing the silly bat shaped 3-D glasses. Well worth a try, as you also get a bonus classic bat story, also in 3-D format.

3-D done right! 29 April 2012

I got this gem a few days ago and was glad I did. IF you like 3-D and you love Batman this is for you! The story is okay, the main seller is the 3-D. I felt the effects with the glasses were really done well. I could see the potential of 3-D in other comics although It's more of a treat to have just one be in 3-D. I'd have to say you have to be careful on how long you read this in 3-D because as with any 3-D if you look at it too long your eyes will hurt and you may get a headache. I found after looking at it for 15-20 mins I had to give my eyes a break. Also the comic is not in color. Like I said this is seeing everyone you love in Batman in 3-D, its for that effect nothing more. Even so it is pretty cool! I gave it a four out of five because I felt even though I loved it people may be disappointed in parts of the story and the fact that it's not in color.
The 3D is great...but that's about it. 20 Mar. 2014

Format: Comic
Batman clashes with the Riddler, Two-Face, the Joker AND the Penguin trying to find out who murdered a rich man...and why. The plot itself is pretty dull and the traps the Batman faces are tame but I still mostly liked this. The selling point here is the 3D and it's very good. The depth in some of the panels is amazing and the things coming right out of the book at you works. Also the art is very good. It's in black and white but I think a color 3D comic isn't possible, There's also a 3D gallery of Batman and vilians from different artists. To round it of there's a 3D story from the 1950s. To put it bluntly it's pretty bad and doesn't use the 3D well at all. Still this is worth getting just for the 3D in the lead story alone.
3D popping action! 7 May 2014

If you ever liked 3D movies or can remember those funny red and blue card board glasses. Well then surprise you are going to appreciate this comic book. It has all the trimmings. The 3D works great. It has some very nice art work of the characters. And most of all in the back it offers you a pair of Batman 3D glasses, you put together for viewing the comic. 5 star

Came in good time and condition. Lots of fun. If you're a Batman fanatic (like me) and enjoy 3D comics (I do), this would make a nice addition to a collection.
