Great Blu-ray DVD but a word of warning, - turn the bass down , Batman does a lot of growling. (why? I don't know). A good film with a good story line for you Bat fans out there, loads of action. Christian Bale plays a good part as does Morgan Freeman, Michael Cane(butler), and others. The part played by Bane as a vicious villian out for revenge is good and the film has a strange twist at the end which I won't reveal. - you'll have to buy it first.lol.

This installment picks up 8 years after the previous film. Harvey Dent is still praised as a hero while Batman (Christian Bale) has gone into hiding as a criminal. Our new criminal is Bane (Tom Hardy). He wears a breather mask that makes him look like Hannibal Lechter, but sound like Darth Vader. He is huge and strong plus he has those fancy gizmos and loyal men who work for him. He is a seemingly impossible foe for ailing Batman who kept reminding me of Rocky V.

Anne Hathaway makes for an interesting Catwoman who freely walks the line between good and evil. She is perhaps the most complex character in the story. The film has an incredible amount of action with important plot points happening nearly all the time. You don't want to go out for popcorn during the feature, you will be lost when you return. Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays Blake, a police officer/detective who grew up in an orphanage...do you see it coming?

PARENTAL GUIDE: No f-bombs, sex, or nudity.

WOW!! For me this is the best Batman film ever made, but my only negative I could not understand a word Bane said, who was played by Tom Hardy, but still this is a brilliant film full of some great action sequences, plus the direction by Christopher Nolan was just awesome. Its such a shame that this will be his last Batman film, but then again when he makes film like "Interstellar" we can forgive him.

People always choose the dark knight over this, but i prefer this one. The reason being is that this one makes batman vunerable. He hits total rock bottom, mentally, physically , financialy just every way he can. Its been 8 years since the joker and since batman took the blame for harvey dents crimes. Gotham has becone a much safer city thanks to the lie batman and gordon created about dent, and bruce wayne has hung up his cape and become a recluse. That all changes though when the masked mercenary bane arrives and batman must come back. It isnt easy though, as bruce has been out of action for years and bane is unlike anyone he's ever faced before. Theres one paticular scene thats actually hard to watch, i wont spoil it but batman faces bane unprepared and well... it dosent go well. This isnt just a superhero movie like the spider man films, this is a crime drama with batman characters, its amazing.

Gotham City' has enjoyed 8 years virtually crime-free....till' now, villain
'War-Lord' ''Bane''(Tom Hardy) is imposing his will on the city.
'Bruce Wayne' (Christian Bale) has not had to resume his role as 'the Dark Knight'
till now that is.
He has to overcome the injuries he still carries from his previous activity 8-years
ago, he does need to put the Cape on again to save his beloved city.
Family servant and friend 'Alfred' (Michael Caine) expresses his concern for 'Bruce's'
safety, has 'Batman' met his match taking on 'Bane' ?
He will need the help of jewel thief 'Cat-Woman' (Anne Hathaway) despite her apparent
act of treachery along the way.
A superb visual treat for 'Bat-man' fans.

This was one of the better ones of the franchise , a little obvious but still full of thrills and spills. Sorry that so many good actors were given such little cameo rolls. The accent of Bane was somewhat unusual to say the least and played larger than life. .The story was not bad but the use of red herrings and lack of communicating the correct info or the right questions by the leading men seemed a little old fashioned and easily seen through if you had watched enough films in your time. Unfortunately Robin was easy to spot and the finale also, but even so it kept my interest through most of it. I'm sure you will enjoy it greatly .

the third and final film in the rebooted batman releases doesn't quite have the same magic as the first 2, but is still a must for fans.i found the reason for this is the villan Bane (played fine by tom hardy) comes across as very serious and business like so you dont really hate/warm to him as much.a lot of people had issue with not being able to understand what Bane was saying but i didnt find this a problem so maybe it sounded muffled in the cinemas? if you're a batman fan you'll enjoy it.just maybe not as much as the first two.

Great film, although I was slightly let down after having huge expectations after The Dark Knight. Excellent direction (as usual with Christopher Nolan) and good performances; most notably Tom Hardy's Bane. It doesn't live up to its previous installment but that doesn't make it a bad film, I would still highly recommend this film.
