Five Star Fun!,

Do you like laughing? Then get this cartoon set. Every episode is a winner. Batfink is a real send up of Superheros and Supervillans. It was made between 1966 and 1967 yet as far as I know it was never shown in the U.K. till the early eighties (which is when I first saw it anyway). I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. It only takes a few seconds till you are in the thick of it and all the 'mad cap' adventure and jokes. Hal Seeger (the Director and Producer) and all his team did a first class job. Full of bright ideas and jokes and each and every one of the 100 episodes are excellent. Each episode is about 4 1/2 minutes and full of inventive fun, the voices and the art work, works great. You will never grow tired of hearing Batfink say "Your bullets cannot harm me for my wings protect me like a sheild of steel." And "My Super Sonic Sonar Radar will help me!" Its all so 'tounge-in-cheek' and it works so well. If you loved the Sixties Batman series you will love this too as it is done in the same vein of sillyness. This is real quality comedy class. "It is a lasting legacy of laughter to lift us out of languish!" Which the Cheif of Police might have said.

All the cartoons are there, but without the Begin and end songs.
Why, for pity's sake? See if the USA Amazon.com version, more recently released has it, or try u tube.

What can I say, I have always wanted to get hold of all the episodes for Batfink and now I have it. I love Batfink it brings back such fond memories
