This is the best book I've found. My son is 7 and went into Year 3 unable but expected to use joined up writing. We worked through this book and it has helped him immensely. It is an excellent resource. We are now working through Book 2.

I bought this book and its follow-up as I needed to improve a number of students' joined-up handwriting in a short space of time and I thought these books would help. However, they are VERY basic - dealing with very simple letter formation and joining only a few letters together at a time for the most part. They would be useful for joining practice if prompted by the child, but were no good for the Year 6 children I was working with. They wanted something far more interesting. Also I think the books are over-priced. I managed to find much more useful resources free on the internet.

I got this for my left handed daughter who was struggling with her neatness. I got her a couple of books and this was the best by far. Lots to practice and not too babyish (she is 11). I also got some good left handed tips for forming letters a bit differently of the internet and she used some of those she found easier. Her writing is amazingly improved and she is thrilled.

Extortionate!
When this was delivered and I opened it I was furious!! This booklet(at 16 pages it isn't a book!) is not worth the money I paid and at 16 pages long would take about three days to... Read more
